Splendid

There is everything and nothing to this life; to being with you. And I love that: the principle of being in love. It was a weird, otherworldly concept before I met you.

Now it just fits.

It just takes awhile for things to come around to a full circle; for my mind to accept what my heart screams. I'm just not the same girl that giggled when Spike Dudley gave me his glasses; but I'm not the hardass I play on TV every week. I'm just me, and I think you get that.

Today, we're headed somewhere incredible. Travel is a constant part of our lives, a solid fact, But I don't care; it's about the adventure we're sharing.

You're honking from my driveway; a cool cherry red '57 under the power of your command. You squint at me through the brightest sunshine, grinning, sending me spinning for the stairs.

My bags are packed for Vegas, but maybe we're headed to Spain. You planned this walk, and I will be mystified.

Crash and Bob just think we're crazy; two stupid people dancing through meadows on our tippy-toes. But I always did love flowers.

And I guess I've always loved you.
