Sappho's Path

"I don't like secrets."

Her lover's smile was replete with the satisfaction of knowing that she had her lover where she needed her, "Well, it will only be until Teddy gets off of his 'I hate Whitey' kick."

"Teddy doesn't even hate whitey. Teddy just wants someone to pay attention to him." She kicked a stray towel, "Shit, I remember when he managed Doom. They didn't have to put up with this stuff."

"Aww.." Her lover teased ,"Want a backrub?"

She smiled, "Not in public, baby."

She laughed, "Yeah, yeah." She leaned backward, against the comforting strength of her lover, "I can't wait to take you home, show you off to my friends. We can mess around in my house. Mmm, I wonder where Teddy is now."

"Probably talking to Rodney. He talks to Rodney so he won't have to talk to me." She laughed, "This, baby, isn't working."

Her chin hit the smooth, soft skin of her shoulder. "I know." She said softly. "I Know."

The warmth of her lover's skin inspired many lovely thoughts. She turned in her place, "How long we got till he starts looking for us?"

Jazz glanced at the door, "About five minutes."

Ivory smiled, wrapping her arms around her lover's neck, "Good enough." The kiss wasn't passionate, but loving enough to block out the outside world.

"Yeah, I wonder why girls haterize on each over over the dumbest things. They bitch when they get this, they bitch when they...." The door flew open, and the only accurate words he could use to explain away the scene before them to Rodney Mack were just accurate.

"Aww, shit."
